Bespoke

Our new premises located at 241 Margaret Street, Toowoomba features a fully functioning, state-of-the-art workshop with a glass partition positioned between the showroom and workshop, to allow our customers to watch on as our award-winning jewellers and gem setters craft bespoke masterpieces.

The manufacturing timeframe does differ between each piece and depends on the complexity; however, we typically allow for between 6 – 8 weeks for any new makes. In the past, we have been able to prioritise urgent jobs and complete them in as little as 2 weeks for clients with very urgent situations. If you would like to confirm an accurate timeframe for your job, it is best to discuss this during your design consultation.

Our design consultations are complimentary and obligation-free. To book a consult, please visit this page.

Yes, you are very much welcome to bring your precious gemstones to your consultation so that you can discuss designs with our jeweller. Please note that our jeweller will need to assess their condition first before proceeding with the design.

Yes, we do have the ability to combine, melt and refine your old gold so that it can be incorporated into a new piece. Our jeweller will weigh the gold first to notify you on the exact amount, and will confirm if additional gold needs to be purchased in order to make your desired piece.

Materials & Manufacturing

At Hogans, our sales consultations undergo comprehensive training to ensure that you’re provided with as much information to then make informed decisions about your investment in our product.

Our onsite workshop enables our clients to secure a quality, Australian made product that is crafted by highly skilled award-winning tradesmen and women. These craftspeople manufacture bespoke pieces to meet the Hogans benchmark of excellence, to ensure your job is manufactured to the highest standard. Our gemstones are hand selected, 1st grade, natural stones sourced from the most renowned regions of the World. Our illustrious collection of colours are a rare exhibition of nature’s most beautiful artworks. Hogans only manufacture jewellery using the finest quality, locally sourced precious metals. We can ensure quality finishes as the alloys are calculated to guarantee optimum durability and strength.

As a general rule, we tend not to source diamonds below a H colour grade and any stones that are larger than 0.30ct are typically certified by Gemological Institute of America (GIA). The Gemological Institute of America is the strictest, largest, and most trusted independent diamond grading organisation in the World. Repairs, Resizes & Cleaning

If you aren’t able to visit our showroom in Toowoomba, there are a number of alternative methods that you can follow to measure your finger size. Our first and preferred recommendation is to visit your closest jewellery store, however if this is not possible, please refer to the methods that are detailed in our ring size guide.

At Hogans, we stock a variety of ready-to-wear men’s and women’s wedding bands that can be resized immediately on-site in our workshop. If you are interested in having custom made wedding bands crafted within this timeframe, please contact our team to discuss as we may be able to assist depending on our workshop’s workload.

Depending on our workload, we are typically able to accommodate for same day polishing & rhodium plating or resizing. If you require this service, please speak to our team and let them know what date you are planning to drop your pieces in so that we can allow for this.

Yes, we offer complimentary ultra sonic cleaning of all jewellery, regardless of where your pieces were purchased from. Our cleaning station is completely visible so that you can watch as our jewellers check your pieces settings for loose stones or potential existing damage before placing them into the ultra-sonic machine. This typically takes 10-20 mins for a thorough clean. Please note that some semi-precious and precious gemstones are not able to undergo ultra-sonic cleaning due to their fragility (i.e. emerald and opal gemstones). In this case, our jewellers will let you know prior and will soak and hand clean your piece or piece/s. This will take a longer period of time.

Yes, we have a pair of finger ring cutters on-site that our jewellers are trained in using this tool to cut off your ring in a way that’s completely pain free and minimally damaging on your ring. This is a complimentary service.
